Well...

I ordered the book off eBay and it finally came yesterday...disguised as a hardcover called "Sam Houston, The Tallest Texan". I contacted the seller and he refunded me my money, saying he didn't have the book.

So there is that.

I broke down and bought the kindle edition for CC points. I'm not happy about that as I find reading a book like this online/kindle difficult. Remember, I am older and have a vestibular condition that affects my vision and concentration, esp. under weird lighting. But it is what it is.

I started reading it and there is a lot of cute and funny things in it but eventually just flipped to the appendix. I have 1/2 the cards I know I'll use now made out.

The book suggests alphabet dividers also and I was kicking myself for not grabbing that box with a set in it from the thrift store for .20 cents. Well, turns out it is for an address book so I don't need it. Matter of fact, I finally threw out my address book of 45 years as everyone is dead, gone or in my phone. Address books are so 20th century!

Now if only my 31 day dividers would come so I could get this puppy set up. Next week they are to be here.

I read somewhere one who has a home like I have (a disaster) should just concentrate on the dailies while working decluttering clockwise around the home. I already know that will be a month's long project. Hubby said he'd get his garage out of the living room so that is a start. I video taped my house, the main level, last year and not a lot has changed except now we can use the kitchen table and the antique store closed that I sold at so the tv. stand I used as shelving is in the kitchen. Ugh. But just having hubby finally agreeing that something has got to give makes me feel motivated.

So friends, that is where I am at.
